Pro-Choice Journalist on the Tebow Super Bowl Ad

(Via Justin Taylor)

From a pro-choice journalist writing in the Washington Post: “If the pro-choice stance is so precarious that a story about someone who chose to carry a risky pregnancy to term undermines it, then CBS is not the problem.”

Right on, Sally. Now can we talk about the plausibility of your position?

You can read her whole piece here. It's worth your time!

  1. Interesting article.
My main objection is her swipe at James Dobson, whom I respect very much.
She claims he "says loathsome things about gays." That simply is not true, unless you consider stating that homosexuality is a sin as loathsome, of you consider his dedication to preserving the sanctity of marriage as loathsome. Dobson consistently encourages believers to hate the sin, love the sinner.

After all, we are all sinners, needful of God's saving grace.

BTW, apparently, according to one of the comments on the article -- which are quite interesting! -- the Hebrews verse on his eye black is Heb. 12:1-2, not Hebrews 12:12
