The Gospel Coalition Vision for Ministry

Sometimes I just post things on this blog so that I know I'll be able to find it when I want to examine something more deeply.

This document from the Gospel Coalition would be one such thing. It looks like a document worthy of much reflection for church leaders. So maybe you would find it edifying as well.

  1. There is no more room for supersition based initiatives. We need to psychiatrically regulate the preachers and teachers that produce these creatures. Churches should be licensed to reduce supersition and all clergy dealing with small children should be psychiatrically monitored to prevent molesting. Since paranoid schizophrenia is the cause of racism, bigotry, homelessness, terrorism, ignorance, exploitation and criminality, we must provide put the appropriate medications, like lithium, in the water supply and require dangerous wingnuts who refuse free mental health care to be implanted with drug release devices. Osama bin Laden and Timothy McVeigh were the ultimate superstition based initiatives. Aborting future terrorists and sterilizing their parents is the most effective homeland security. Preganancy is a shelfish, environmentally desturctive act and must be punished, not rewarded with benefits, preference and leave.

  2. Vernon,

I don't really know what you're talking about or what it has to do with The Gospel Coalition, but I'm publishing your comment because I believe in freedom of speech.

    God bless,

    Larry
