I try to keep my computer off on most Mondays, but I may post a quote or something small from time to time. We have this quote from John Flavel hanging up in our dining room; it is an explanation of the gospel logic of Romans 8:32:"Surely if He would not spare His own Son one stroke, one tear, one groan, one sigh, one circumstance of misery, it can never be imagined that ever He should, after this, deny or withold from His people, for whose sakes all this was suffered, any mercies, any comforts, any privilege, spiritual or temporal, which is good for them."
The grammar may not be top-notch, but the wonder of the theological truth in it doesn't get much better!
